Grand Large technical area

The Grand Large technical area measures 5,000m² and can welcome around forty vessels for careening and repairs.

For boat maintenance, Dunkirk Marina is equipped with a 30-tonne capacity crane. Boats are taken in and out of the water from the landing slipway (a remnant of the shipyards), accessible 3 h before and after high tide, allowing a maximum draught of 2.30 metres.

Careening zone

With a high-pressure cleaning device and a water-filtration system, the careening zone enables effective and environmentally friendly maintenance of vessels.

Request for cranage or draining

Requests for cranage or mooring in the technical area, or any request for information, should be sent by e-mail or phone directly to our crane operators, Gaël and David!

Provision of the Harbour Vessel

Operations such as towing or manoeuvres within the basins may be offered by the Dunkirk Marina team. View our 2024 prices for the use of the Harbour Vessel and/or harbour agents.
