Port du Bassin de Commerce

The marina at the Bassin du Commerce, ideally located along the Quai de la Citadelle, opposite the Maritime and Port Museum, in a charming and historical maritime setting!

This historic district used for ship-building and by 19th-century shipping companies is now home to the university, port museum and a number of dockside restaurants.

This unique basin is home to yachts and a fleet of exceptional and historic heritage vessels: the three master ‘La Duchesse Anne’, one of the most remarkable symbols of Dunkirk, but also the lightship ‘Sandettie’ and the tugboat ‘Triomphant’.

The port du Bassin de Commerce offers 140 moorings along the Quai de la Citadelle, as well as 15 moorings for vessels longer than 13 m along the Quai des Hollandais. The inner basin can be accessed from the sea through the Trystram lock.
